A stunning and rare console table designed by T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings for Widdicomb, circa 1956. Features elegant arches on all sides, creating what looks like partitioned display areas. This uncommon and coveted piece is from the series often referred to as the Coliseum (Colosseum) Line. I have only seen two other examples of this table throughout the YearWould work well along side pieces from designers including Harvey Probber, Edward Wormley, Paul Laszlo, Paul Frankl, Karl Springer, Jean- Michel Frank, Vladimir Kagan, etc. Other notable manufacturers include Baker, Henredon, Cassina, Dunbar, etc.
